Mobile – Viewing Patient’s Current and Previous Orders In One Place

In this section, you will learn how to view patient’s current and previous orders in one place.

Step 1: On patient order page, you will see all patient orders at your account with patient name, patient id, modality, date and images information.

Step 2: Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. If you click on the button on the lower left side of the page, you will see all the orders of the selected patient by date order.

The current order of the patient will be displayed on the top of the field and previous orders will be arranged under this order. You can see the date, time and modality information at the top of each order.

All the images and documents added to the order will be displayed under the order information. You can see the series of images or documents in any orders by clicking on it. You can hide an order by clicking the arrow button on the upper left side of it. After you hide the order, you will only see the order information.

Step 4: If you want to close the field, click on “Exit” button on the upper right side of the field.

Mobile – Changing Viewport Layout

In the next paragraphs, you will learn how to change viewport layout. For more information about viewing on mobile application articles at here.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be shown. Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. Click on “Tools” icon on the lower side of the page.

Step 2: After you have clicked, tools section will be displayed.

You will see the layouts field in tools section.

On “Layouts” field, you can change viewport layout by clicking the icons. The first time you open the view page, you will see that the 1×1 icon is selected because a single image is shown on the viewport. In order to change viewport layout, click on the icon with the layout image you need.

If you click on the 1×2 icon, you will see the following view. The figure in front of the cross mark indicates the number of rows and the one behind the cross mark indicates the number of columns.

After clicking 1×2 icon, you will see that the viewport is divided into two equal parts and the first image is located in the first part. For loading other part, click on the part you want to load the image, click on “Files” icon on the lower left side of the page to view the images and then click on the image you want to load.

If you want to view images in the same series, after clicking on the series and seeing the first image of the series on the selected viewport part, you can scroll to navigate through the images in the series or you can use arrow buttons on the lower side of the image. You can display all the series by clicking the ellipsis icon on the lower right side of the selected viewport and select series by clicking on it.

After loading the images, you can select the image you want to edit by clicking on it. Once you have clicked, the frame of the selected part will turn into blue color. The cross section of the selected image in other images will be shown with yellow line.

You can use all the tools on the selected image.

Mobile – Using Window Level, Pan, Zoom, Rotation, Thickness and Scroll Functions

In this section, you will learn how to use window level, pan, zoom, rotate, thickness and scroll functions.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be shown. Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. Click on “Tools” icon on the lower side of the page.

After you have clicked, tools section will be displayed.

In the following paragraphs, common image editing functions namely window level, pan, zoom, rotate, thickness and scroll will be described.

Window Level

Click on “Window Level” icon in functions field. After clicking, the icon will turn into blue color.

While “Window Level” is selected, click and hold on image. Move your finger to the left to decrease Window Center (increase brightness) value.

Likewise, move your finger to the right to increase Window Center (decrease brightness) value.

While “Window Level” is selected, click and hold on image. Move your finger to up to decrease Window Width (increase contrast) value.

Likewise, move your finger to downward to increase Window Width (decrease contrast) value.

Pan

Click on “Pan” icon in functions field. After clicking, the icon will turn into blue color.

While “Pan” is selected, click and hold on image. Move your finger to any direction to pan the image. When you move your finger to the left, you will move the image to the left as can be seen in the image below.

Zoom

Click on “Zoom” icon in functions field. After clicking, the icon will turn into blue color.

While “Zoom” is selected, click and hold on image. When you move your finger downwards, image will be zoomed in (image will be bigger). Likewise, when you move your finger upwards, image will be zoomed out (image will be smaller). Following image shows zoomed in image.

Rotation

Click on “Rotation” icon in functions field. After clicking, the icon will turn into blue color.

While “Rotation” is selected, click and hold on image. Move your finger to rotate the view up to 360 degrees. Following image shows rotated image.

Thickness

Click on “Thickness” icon in functions field. After clicking, the icon will turn into blue color.

While “Thickness” is selected, click and hold on image. When you move your finger downwards, thickness will be increased. Likewise, when you move your finger upwards, thickness will be decreased. Following image shows thick image.

Scroll

This is the default function in window level, pan, zoom, rotate, thickness and scroll group. When you open the tools section you will see that it is selected. If another function is selected and you want to return to scroll function, click on “Scroll” icon. Also it can be selected from mini tools section.

While “Scroll” is selected, click and hold on image. When you move your finger downwards, image index will be increased. Likewise, when you move your finger upwards, image index will be decreased. Following image shows scrolled image.

Mobile – Using Negate, Rotate, Flip Vertical/Horizontal, Increase/Decrease Thickness, Zoom In/Out, Reset Functions

In this section, you will learn how to use negate, rotate, flip vertical/horizontal, increase/decrease thickness, zoom in/out and reset functions.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be shown. Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. Click on “Tools” icon on the lower side of the page.

After you have clicked, tools section will be displayed.

In the following paragraphs, common image editing functions namely negate, rotate, flip vertical, flip horizontal, increase thickness, decrease thickness, zoom in, zoom out and reset will be described.

Negate

In order to negate the image, click on “Invert” icon in functions field.

After clicking, you will see the inverted image on the viewport. Click on the icon again to return to see the normal image.

Rotate

Click on “Rotate 90 Degrees” icon in functions field.

If you click once, the image will rotate 90 degrees to the right. You can click twice to rotate the image 180 degrees, three times click to rotate it 270 degrees or four times click to rotate it 360 degrees (return to original plane). The image rotated 90 degrees is shown below.

Flip Vertical

Click on “Flip Vertical” icon in functions field to flip the image vertical.

Once you have clicked, you will see the vertical mirror view of your image on the viewport.

Flip Horizontal

To flip the image horizontal, click on “Flip Horizontal” icon in functions field.

After clicking, the horizontal mirror view of your image will be displayed on the viewport.

Increase/Decrease Thickness

Click on “Increase Thickness” icon in functions field to increase the thickness of the image by one level.

Once you have clicked, you will see one level thickened image on the viewport. The more you click, the thicker the image.

To decrease the thickness of the image by one level, click on “Decrease Thickness” icon.

After clicking, thickness decreased image will be shown on the viewport.

Zoom In/Out

Click on “Zoom In” icon in functions field to zoom in the image by one level.

After clicking, the image will be one level bigger. The more you click, the bigger the image.

To zoom out the image by one level, click on “Zoom Out” icon in functions field.

After clicking, you will see that the image will be one level smaller. The more you click, the smaller the image.

Reset

Click on “Reset” icon in functions field. After you click on the icon, you will reset all the functions activities on the image and return to the original image.

Mobile – Using MPR Functions

In this section, you will learn how to use MPR functions. For more information about viewing on mobile application articles at here.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be displayed. Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. Click on “Tools” icon on the lower left side of the page.

You will see the MPR field on the lower side of the tools section. You can select the image sequence on the viewport, change the image location and adjust the intensity projection of the image by using the icons in MPR field.

To select the image sequence, click on the icons on the first row of the field. Click on first icon for a single image, second icon for 1+3 vertical image sequence, third icon for 1+3 horizontal image sequence and fourth icon for 2+2 image sequence.

If you click on second icon, you will see the following view. The original image will be displayed at the top and the axial, the sagittal and the coronal images will be at the bottom respectively.The cross section of the original image in other images will be shown with yellow line.

Step 3: You can change the image location by using the icons at the middle row in the MPR field. Click on “Front” icon to see the front image, “Back” icon to see the back image, “Left” icon to see the left image, “Right” icon to see the right image, “Top” icon to see the top image and “Bottom” icon to see the bottom image. You can also determine the image position from the shape of the icon.

Step 6: In order to adjust the intensity projection of the image, use the icons at the bottom row of the MPR field. Click on “MIP” icon for the maximum IP, “MINIP” icon for the minimum IP, “AVGIP” icon for the average IP.

Mobile – Using Dose Link and Dose Unlink Functions

In this section, you will learn how to use dose link and dose unlink functions.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be shown. Click on the order you want to view the images. “View” page will be opened. Click on “Tools” icon on the lower side of the page.

After you have clicked, tools section will be displayed.

In “Functions” field, click on “Link” icon.

Step 3: Once you have clicked on the link icon, dose edits on the current image will be applied to the other images in the series as can be seen below.

Step 4: If you click on “Unlink” icon in functions field, when you edit dose on the current image, it will not be applied to the other images in the series.

Mobile – Showing/Hiding Patient Information on Viewport

In this section, you will learn how to show/hide patient information on viewport.

Step 1: On patient order page, all patient orders at your account will be displayed. Click on the order you want to view the images and then “View” page will be opened.

On viewport, you will see the first image of the patient with the patient information on the upper left corner of it. The patient information part contains patient name, patient id, patient birth date and gender of the patient information respectively.

On the lower left corner of the viewport, you will see the image information such as sequence number of the image, the window width and window center values. These information can vary by medical image type.

Also, you can see the position of the patient according to the image by letters on the edges of the view.

Click on “Tools” icon on the lower left side of the page.

Step 2: After you have clicked, tools section will be shown.

In order to hide patient information on viewport, click on “Tags” icon in functions field.

Step 3: After clicking, all the information on the viewport will be hidden.

Step 4: If you again click on the icon, the information will be shown on the viewport again.
