Managing Cloud Proxies   (4 Articles)

Create, Download and Install Proxy Server

Step 1: Click on “Settings” icon on the upper right side of the page.

Step 2: On application settings page, click on “Cloud Proxies” item on the left side of the page.

Step 3: After clicking, cloud proxies list with name, operating system, IP and status information will be shown. You can refresh the list by clicking “Refresh” icon.

In order to add cloud proxy, click on “Add Cloud Proxy” icon on the upper right side of the field.

Step 4: “Select operating system” field will be opened and supported operating systems will be listed below the header. You can see the minimum system requirements by clicking the icon on the right end of each line.

Step 5: After clicking on the operating system, download process will start.

Step 6: When the upload is finished, click on “postDICOM_ProxyServer.exe” to open it. postDICOM ProxyServer Setup page will be opened. Click on “Next” button.

The destination folder selection page will be opened. The software will be installed in the default folder listed in the blank. If you want to select a different location, click on “Change” button. After selecting, click on “Next” button.

You are now ready to install postDICOM ProxyServer on your computer. Click on “Next” button to proceed with the installation.

Enter your user information and click on “Next” button.

After clicking a message box will be shown to confirm your e-mail address. Click on “OK” button.

Select the institution you want and click on “Next” button to continue.

The installation will be completed. Click on “Finish” button to exit the installer.

Step 7: After installation, you will see the proxy in the cloud proxies list with name, operating system, IP and status information.

General Proxy Settings

Step 1: In order to edit a cloud proxy in the list, click on “Edit” icon on the right end of it.

Step 2: After clicking, Cloud Proxy Settings-General Settings page will be opened. In this page, you can see name, local storage, IP, status and OS information of the proxy.

Step 3: You can change the local storage by using arrow icons on the right side of the related field.

Step 4: After editing, click on “Save” button on the upper right side of the page to save changes.

Editing Proxy PACS Server Settings

In this article, you will learn how to manage PACS Server settings of cloud proxies in your account. For all related links click here.

Step 1: Click on “PACS Server Settings” header on the upper side of the page.

Step 2: In this page, you can see institution, AE title, port, connection security and status information. You can edit AE title and port by writing in related fields. Also, you can select connection security as one of the following options:

Default-None: Client and server communicate through an unsecured connection.

Server Authentication: One-way secure connection. The client uses Server’s certificate for secure communication.

Server and Client Authentication: Two-way secure connection. The client uses Server’s certificate and Server uses client’s certificate for secure communication.

Step 3: If you select “Server Authentication” or “Server and Client Authentication”, you will see the server certificate information under the connection security options. If you want to download the certificate, you can click on the icon.

Step 4: Once you have clicked, the certificate will be downloaded to your computer.

Step 5: In this page, you can also change the status of the proxy by clicking Start/Stop button on the right side of the page.

Step 6: When you click on “Stop” button, status of the cloud proxy will change to “Not Available”. If you want to start it again, you can click on “Start” button.

Step 7: In order to save the changes, click on “Save” button on the upper right side of the page.

Create, Verify and Update DICOM Nodes

In this chapter, you will learn how to manage DICOM Node Settings of cloud proxies in your account. For all related links click here.

Step 1: Click on “DICOM Node Settings” header on the upper side of the page.

Step 2: On the left side of the page, you will see DICOM Nodes list. In order to open a DICOM node, click on it. You will see the information of the selected DICOM node on the right side of the page. On Properties field, you will see name, AE title, IP, port and calling AE title information of DICOM node. On Roles field, you will see SCU – SCP role options and query/retrieve type of DICOM node.

Step 3: In order to add a new DICOM node, fill the related blanks in properties field and select roles and query/retrieve type in roles field. Then, click on “Add” icon on the right side of the page.

After clicking, new DICOM node will be added to the DICOM Nodes list.

Step 4: You can change Active/Passive status of DICOM node by clicking the icon on the right side of the page.

Step 5: You can clear all the information in properties and roles fields by clicking “Clear” icon on the right side of the page.

Step 6: If you want to delete a DICOM Node in the list, click on the node you want to delete. Then, click on “Delete” icon on the right side of the page.

Step 7: If you want to edit a DICOM Node in the list, click on the node you want to edit. Make changes you want in related fields, then click on “Update” button on the right side of the page.

Step 8: You can verify a DICOM Node by clicking “Verify” icon on the right side of the page.

Once you have clicked, you will see a message box indicated that verification succeeded. Click on “OK” to close the box.

Step 9: After all the changes you have made, click on “Save” button on the upper right side of the page.
